Dr. Fickes offers a wide range of chiropractic and nutritional skills, from Applied Kinesiology and Directional Non Force Technique to Diversified and Cranial Sacral Therapies. She uses soft tissue therapies extensively so the adjustment is comfortable, specific and long lasting.
Using her Certified Clinical Nutritionist skills, Dr. Fickes enjoys being a detective for challenging cases. She may use homeopathy, diet, Chinese tonic herbs, western herbs, metabolic typing and the latest vitamin therapies.
Dr. Fickes is the only Board Certified Medical Thermographer in Hawaii. She specializes in early detection, prevention and care of breast disease and natural hormone balancing. Thermography uses an infrared camera to find hot, risky patterns and get information about how to treat the problems found with natural therapies. There is no compression or radiation used.
